Survey of literary genres. Reading, analysis, discussion and written response to selections from each genre. Grammar, vocabulary, and composition.

World Geography/Civics
World Geography will focus on the study of human and physical geography with an emphasis on the interaction between people and environment. Civics will focus on government systems and basic economic principles.

Algebra I
Basic algorithms, mathematical properties and relationships. Representation, in graph form, of mathematical concepts.

Algebra II

Biology
Study and analysis of basic life processes. Development of laboratory procedures and skills.

Latin I
Introduction to the vocabulary, morphology, syntax of Latin and study of English derivatives, with a view toward reading Latin literature in the original language.

Introduction to Scripture
Survey of the Old and New Testaments with a focus on salvation history and the life of Christ.
