The foreign language offerings at Northridge begin in eigth grade with a semester of exploratory Latin and a semester of exploratory Spanish. From there, students will take two years of Latin after which they will have the option of continuing in Latin or proceeding with Spanish. AP courses are offered for both Latin and Spanish, and students will now have the opportunity to take Ancient Greek.
