The study of history gives students essential skills in analysis, synthesis of information, & writing. Moreover, it gives students a greater understanding of the world and where contemporary times fit within the context of history. Northridge is proud to offer a seven-year history/social studies program that gives them a strong background in geography, social issues, and history. Students at Northridge also have the unique opportunity to take a total of three History AP courses.
