Northridge is a school grounded in Catholic principles and requires religion classes for its Catholic students. Other students are welcome, but never pressured, to attend if they wish; and a Humanities class is offered in place of religion. NRP has a full-time chaplain who is available for confession, spiritual direction and consultation. Many students participate in the daily Mass celebrated in NRP's chapel, which is also open for personal prayer and meditation. Spiritual formation and religious instruction are provided by Opus Dei, a personal Prelature of the Catholic Church.
