The Northridge Prep Drama Club produces full scale theatrical productions on a professional stage, two times a year. These productions offer students opportunities to participate in acting, singing, music performance, crew, set building, lighting and sound design and box office and stage management. The winter play is produced in December and the spring play in March. Both middle school and high school students participate in the plays. Northridge productions include both comedy and drama, and the variety shows offer opportunities for performance of original student work.
Recent NRP Drama Club productions include: Charlie and The Chocolate Factory; A Christmas Carol; The Killer Angels; 1776; The Princess Bride; Stalag 17; The Hobbit; The Adventures of Baron Bolligrew; and A Touch of Shakespeare.
