Northridge is proud to have a high school flag football team sponsored by the Chicago Bears. The team is open to all Northridge high school students who  do not participate in another fall sport. Practices are typically held twice a week after school and the team participates in the Bears High School Flag Football League. This  league consists of 32 teams that compete in a single elimination tournament  from mid-September through early October. Games follow standard flag football rules with eight-men on a side. The  four final teams in the tournament play at Halas Hall. The Bears provide all the flags and jerseys and players need only cleats and a desire to continue Northridge's competitive spirit and early round successes.
